I’m Catherine, a Certified Holistic Health Coach,Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Plant Based Chef and mom of 4 who is determined to put you on a path to feeling energized, light, and completely healthy! After having my kids and being a stay-at-home mom for several years, I found myself 30 pounds overweight. Not only was I unhappy with how I looked, I hated how I felt - tired, achy, and moody all the time. I didn’t even have the energy to play with my kids!

 In addition to bringing you comprehensive nutritional information and resources based on science and medically proven research, I also have the personal experience to guide you and support you as you work to reach your health goals and reclaim your life!

Even when I was younger, I knew my eating habits needed work. I was so used to living life on the fast-track, eating quick snacks between heading to school and in between extracurricular activities. I noticed the effects during classes, I couldn’t stay awake or concentrate on the subject at hand. Not to mention, I was a little heavier than I wanted to be.
Had I known then what I know now, I wouldn’t have been so hard on myself for being “overweight,” I didn’t know that all the salt and sugar in my diet was a contributor to the water retention that made me appear larger than I actually was.

My Story

Years later, in my pain, I turned toward food - especially candy, ice cream, and cookies, and in my exhaustion, I relied on sodas, energy drinks, and sugary coffees to keep going. I found myself 30 pounds overweight and HATING my body. Even worse, I felt exhausted, sick, and moody all the time. I never had any energy, my body hurt, my digestion was a mess, and I lived with a never-ending headache.
It was when I realized that my weight and all the symptoms I faced every day were keeping me from being the person I dreamed of being! I wasn’t emotionally present at all.

Hitting Rock Bottom…

Finally, I started bridging the gap by taking a much closer look at what I was actually eating. All it took was a little poking around in the subject of nutrition, instead of relying on random blogs and articles to tell me what I was missing. It completely changed the way I looked at calories; for most people, a calorie is a calorie.

Once I made this realization, eating clean became something I desired. I no longer felt like I was depriving myself of food or enforcing extreme calorie restrictions on my body. I was just eating real, healthy, clean food.
